On behalf of the Alexandria Community School Corporation, we want to extend a warm welcome to all our students, both returning and joining us for the first time this upcoming year. We are thrilled to start this new academic year and eager to see the incredible things our students will achieve. We are two and a half weeks away from the new school year, and we wanted to remind you of some important dates coming up. Enrollment and Registration: We will have in-person registration for new students. If you do not have internet access or prefer to register your student in person, please do so. For the elementary school, July 23rd from 7:45 AM to 2:45 PM and July 30th from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM; For the Jr./Sr. High School, July 23rd from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM and July 30th from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Please bring the student's birth certificate, shot record, and two documents for residency. Back-to-School Rally: Monday, July 29th, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at First Baptist Church, 2107 S. Park Ave, Alexandria, In. There will be Free School Supplies, backpacks, face painting, hot dogs, and chips. Students enrolled in Alexandria Schools are invited. Please bring your ID and mail with you for proof of residency. Back-to-School Night for Alexandria Jr./Sr. High School is on July 31st from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Back to School Bash for the Alexandria Elementary School is on August 5th from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. The first day of school is August 7th, Picture Day for the Jr./Sr. High School will be on August 27th. Picture day for the Elementary school will be on August 29th. First e-learning day: August 30th.
REMINDER: First Baptist Church will be having a back to school Rally on July 29th from 5:00 PM -7:00PM. Free school supplies, backpack, face painting, hot dogs and chips! There will be representatives from the Alexandria Public Library, Community Center, Police and Fire Departments, Madison County Health Department, and more! Students enrolled in Alexandria Schools are invited. Please bring picture ID and mail with address for proof of residency. If you would like to donate, you can send or drop off a check or supplies to First Baptist Church, 2107 S Park Ave on SR 9 next to El Chile Poblano. School supplies needed most are dry erase markers, #2 pencils (Ticonderoga is teacher preference), Crayola crayons (24 count), and plain 2-pocket folders.

Free and reduced meal applications have officially opened online. You can log onto
myschoolapps.com, search for Alexandria Community Schools, and fill out the step-by-step process. We encourage everyone to fill one out! If you have any questions, please call Bridget Anderson at (765)298-6211. If you prefer paper applications, you may pick one up at our back-to-school nights for elementary or junior/senior high school.
