At our Back to School Bash on August 4th at 5-7, be sure to stop by the PTO Table and send your child a special message from you and a good luck pencil for just $2.00! 🐯 These messages and pencils will be delivered on the first day of school. We can’t wait to see you on August 4th!

Join us for our AMES Back-to-School Bash & Meet the Teacher Night on Monday, August 4 from 5–7 PM. It’s a great chance to connect, get ready, and kick off a fantastic school year! We can’t wait to welcome our Tigers to school! The first day of school is Wednesday, August 6 — and we’re counting down the days!

From top to bottom, our school has been thoroughly cleaned, refreshed, and prepared. Our Alexandria Monroe Elementary custodians worked tirelessly, putting in time and energy, to ensure every area is ready for students, staff, and families. We couldn't have done it without them and are truly lucky to have them. Thank you! 😁

We ❤️ K-Camp! Our future kindergarten Tigers have been busy learning and growing each day. They've been: 🔤 Exploring letters and letter sounds ✍️ Practicing writing their names 🔢 Learning about numbers 🧠 Following directions and building routines 📚 Diving into books and developing a love for reading Way to go, Little Tigers! 🐾

Tonight was incredibly uplifting! Our Tigers, books, and popsicles! We were thrilled to meet and greet so many of our amazing Tigers and future Tigers at the Bookmobile this evening. Happy Reading, Tigers! 🐅

There will be a Tiger Food Pantry this Wednesday, July 9, at the elementary school. The food will be distributed under the awning starting at 4PM.

We're excited for K-Camp (Kinder Camp) starting on July 24th, where our future Kindergarten students will discover the joy of learning and develop essential skills, including curiosity about letters, numbers, and stories, problem-solving, collaboration, and following directions. Let’s go, Little Tigers! 🐯

Wow! Hats off to Mr. Rob Sayre, Mr. Derek Dinehart, Mr. Donnie Dinehart, and Mrs. Chasin Wells for their remarkable dedication outside and inside of Alexandria Monroe Elementary, even on the hottest days of summer. They continue to work selflessly on the outside of our building for the benefit of our students, families and staff! Inside the building, another amazing crew is preparing classrooms and so much more for our students. Our summer crew is truly exceptional!
