Before summer school wrapped up for the day, our students enjoyed a visit to the Alexandria Community Schools’ Bookmobile! This opportunity came from a thoughtful suggestion by one of our own Summer School Scholars, Tyson. Thanks to his great idea, students were able to select free books to take home and enjoy throughout the summer. It was wonderful to see so many Tigers excited about reading, browsing the Bookmobile, and enjoying a popsicle with friends! Happy reading, Tigers!

Ruff, ruff, ruff! 🐾 Our Summer School Scholars had some very special visitors today! Puppies in training stopped by to cheer on and encourage our Tigers, and there were plenty of smiles to go around. Students had the opportunity to interact with the puppies and learn about each dog's unique personalities. A special thank you to Mrs. Swegman and Mrs. Burnett for helping organize this wonderful opportunity for our students. We can't wait to learn more about our four-legged friends in the weeks ahead! 🐶
