We thoroughly enjoyed our Princess and Fairytale Party this evening. Our students were outstanding! It was delightful to observe them engaging in crafts, dancing, singing, meeting princesses, and socializing with friends. We are grateful for our exceptional parent volunteers and AMES Student Council for making this evening truly memorable for our students. 👑😀
It’s getting chilly outside! Remind your child to wear layers and/or their coat each day. ☁️ 🌧️ We want our students to be able to play and explore outside, but they must be dressed for the weather. Thank you for your support!

This Monday, November 11, we will be celebrating Veterans Day and participating in the Veterans Day Program at the Alexandria High School. Our students will be at the high school from 8:30-10:30. We encourage all students to wear red, white, and blue for this special day. Thank you for helping us honor our veterans!
Our 2nd Grade and 5th Grade Reading Buddies met today! 📚 We love watching the reading skills, leadership skills, and relationships grow between our younger and older students throughout the year as a result of our Reading Buddies.

The Tiger Reader Program officially kicked off today, with a focus on cultivating a love for reading in our Tigers. Happy Halloween! Our AMES Staff are so creative, talented, and shined on "Dress Like a Book Character Day!" We had The Book with No Pictures, Pete the Cat, Diary of a Wimpy Kid, The Legend of Rock, Paper, & Scissors & so much more! Our Kindergarten Team won the competition!🥇
Congratulations to our top PTO Candy Bar Sales Classroom, Mr. Martin's Class! They sold 37 boxes of chocolate! 🍫 Mr. Martin's class enjoyed a delicious pizza party!

Due to rain on Thursday, we are moving the AMES Tiger Trot and Dress Like a Book Character or Halloween costume event to Wednesday, October 30th. Your child can wear their costume to school on Wednesday for the AMES Tiger Trot for $1.00. Please remember: NO masks, fake blood, weapons, inflatables, or anything gory.
